Nambu ironware is a traditional craft made in Morioka and Oshu cities in Iwate Prefecture.
To do before use:
Wash with water using a soft sponge. (Do not use detergent. The detergent will penetrate into the uneven surface of the steel, making it difficult to remove.)
What to do after use:
- Always transfer leftover food to a separate container and rinse with a soft sponge.
- Do not use detergent. The detergent will get into the uneven surface of the iron and will be difficult to remove.
- Please place over low heat to allow the water to evaporate completely. Store in a dry place.
